Tommy Bahama Resturant & Bar, Fashion Valley Mall

Tommy Bahama is opening a new store and restaurant at San Diego’s Fashion Valley Mall. The retail space undergoes significant changes to bring a new look and feel to the mall. The iconic Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar & Store features the “Marlin,” a welcoming outdoor bar and cantina, complemented by a modern patio dining area. The outdoor bar is covered with an equinox enclosure that connects the indoor restaurant seating to that of the patio.
NIC Consultants have utilized innovative structural modifications to bring Tommy Bahama a state-of-the-art, open façade concept while successfully meeting the restrictions imposed in altering the main mall’s structure system.

NIC Consultants has provided structural engineering services for the project in collaboration with Architect Design Collaboratives.
