The subject units are located at the 4th floor of a high-density residential building in City of Fullerton. The units are side-by-side and are already connected to each other through a previously made opening in the original walls.
The renovation work mainly includes connecting of the units by removing the party-walls, remodeling of the kitchen and bathrooms, amongst other alterations. The building is constructed with wood studs and framing. The roof framing, over the units, is assumed to be pre-engineered wood trusses. NIC Consultant managing principal, Mr. TJ Eimani, oversaw the structural work for the project.
