Bank of America at Del Amo Fashion Mall in Torrance has received significant interior renovation and facade modernization. This is a flagship branch that represents a typical tenant improvement program for the modernization of the Bank of America fleet in Southern California.
NIC Consultants have provided the structural engineering services for this and many other local braches from San Deigo to greater Los Angles and further north to Bakersfield. The scope of work generally includes; performing field survey, alteration to the existing structural system, allowing new openings, removal/relocation of bearing and shear walls, adding/removing mezzanines, placement of new ATMs, providing lateral support and seismic bracing for various non-structural components such as; roll-down security gates, top-hung sliding glass partitions, increasing parapet height, and providing support for new rooftop mechanical units, etc.
