CNC Motors look over 210 freeway in Upland, California. The high-end motorcar dealership provides about 50,000 square feet of area. The complex includes separated spaces for different functions, including; the showroom, office department, and a service center. The building façade is softened by using a variety of different panels to achieve a unique and more welcoming aesthetic.
The structure is primarily comprised of cast-in-place concrete tilt-up panels and steel structure. Roof framing includes a metal deck with rigid insulation. The roof framing includes pre-fabricated open-web steel trusses and steel girders. At the widest section of the building, trusses span about 90 feet to deliver unobstructed large working spaces. The office department is arranged in two levels, separated by storefront windows.
NIC Consultants have provided structural design services for the project. Architectural design is developed by ADC.
