Edison High School Aquatics Complex in Huntington Beach undergoes a major renovation project by replacing the school’s Olympic-size outdoor pool and its supporting services housed in the central plant near the locker room. Additionally, the project involves upgrades to the pool’s existing equipment: holding tanks, chlorine storage tanks, a feeding system, CO2 tanks, an injection manifold, circulation pumps, bypass pipes, and values, backwash pits, housekeeping pads, control panels, hangers, stands, as well as their respective anchorage and seismic braces.

NIC Consultants in collaboration with PBK Architects designed the facility’s structural systems. The project received DSA approval in February and construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2020.
